I work for Hammond Communications Group and we project manage the Media Support Services aspect of the NCAA Men & Women's Basketball Tournaments. This is a HD production using a two camera switch feeding multiple sources to a distribution area, basically a pool feed. On site media plug into our A / V Distribution area and receive game video & audio, as well as press conference video & audio. The press conference signal is also transmitted via KU band uplink truck and made available via satellite to members of the media not able to attend on site.
We are looking for individuals who can help unload and load equipment, run long lengths of cable, set up lights & cameras, and operate a camera. Individuals must maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout the event.
We condiser it an internship, but unlink an internship, we can pay the person selected $50 / day.
The dates for the NCAA Women's Regional are March 25-March 29.
